How we build and verify PlayPartyMap

PlayPartyMap helps parents compare kids birthday party venues and indoor play places on the details that matter — price per child, ages, private rooms, cake and food rules — without opening twenty browser tabs.

Where venues come from

We start from open map data (OpenStreetMap and Foursquare Open Source Places) to find venues such as indoor playgrounds, trampoline parks, family entertainment centers, kids gyms and museums. We remove places that are closed, adults-only, or not physical venues (for example mobile bounce-house rentals). We currently list 155 venues.

Where the details come from

Every fact on a venue page — prices, ages, party length, room type, cake rules — is taken from the venue's own website.
Each fact links to the exact page it came from and shows the date we checked it.
If a venue only publishes chain-wide information, we say so on the page and mark the location as not yet confirmed.
We never write reviews, invent ratings, or guess missing details. If we don't know, we leave it blank.

We use software, including AI, to read venue websites and pull out these facts. A person reviews every batch of changes before it goes live.

How often we re-check

We re-read venue websites every month and update anything that changed. Prices and packages change often, so please confirm with the venue before you book.
